MANASSAS, VIRGINIA USA – The ISSA has announced the dates for several of their events scheduled for 2012 (others to be added soon.) Several new tournaments will be held next year as the ISSA works to make more professional senior tournaments available for the senior players. Team managers should note the tournament dates listed below as some have moved to a new weekend to meet changing conditions, i.e., weather, venue availability, event conflicts, etc. The ISSA tournament season will kick off with the WTOC in Florida in late January and promises to be an exciting event with several international teams participating. We have instituted a new concept for teams that play in the ISSA program, the Spring Training Trail which is a group of three tournaments in the south that will provide the teams an opportunity to take to the field early. Teams that participate in all three of the tournaments on “the Trail” will receive a paid berth in the ISF Senior! World Cup which is held in the Roanoke Valley in June. New for 2012 will be the Smoky Mountain Senior Classic at Maryville, TN (near Knoxville). The ISSA is excited to be able to bring to the seniors the experience of playing in the “Smoky” which is Number 1 on many open team’s “must play” list. The following is an early list of the ISSA tournaments (others to be added), please share the list with others who may not be on our ISSA email list. We look forward to working with our host cities to bring these exciting tournaments to the senior division in 2012.

Sept. 31-Oct. 2 – 5th Annual ISSA Winter National, Virginia Beach, VA
October 28-30 – ISSA United States Championships, Myrtle Beach, SC
* Teams that play the ISSA SPRING TRAINING TRAIL at all three scheduled events (Myrtle Beach, N. Charleston and Columbus) will receive a PAID berth in the 11th ISF Senior World Cup at Salem, VA.
Over the next couple of weeks we will be working to finalize the ISSA Tournament agenda for 2012 and some additional tournaments will be added as venue agreements are finalized with our host cities so check back with the ISSA Website.
